The Watkins College of Art celebrates the power of art and design to transform people, communities, cultures and the world. Our experienced faculty and state-of-the-art facilities help foster an environment where students are offered numerous opportunities to explore their creative talents in a variety of fields in a community of learning and service. Watkins strives to create a unique environment for students to grow both personally and professionally through the encouragement of autonomy and fostering collaboration among peers.

Small class sizes and outstanding student-faculty ratios allow students to be individually challenged as they develop their own unique strengths. Watkins programs are academically rigorous and taught by exceptional faculty members with significant industry experience.

The Watkins College of Art offers Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degrees in art education, studio art, design communications (graphic design) and experiential design as well as Bachelor of Arts (BA) degrees in art and art history. We also offer minors in art history, design communications, painting, photography and studio art. Our graduate programs include a Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) in Art Education and a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Studio Art.

With a foundation in the classic principles of art and design along with a commitment to teaching the most relevant advanced technologies in a Christian community of learning and service, our degrees prepare graduates to find meaningful careers in their fields.
